Testimonials

Today I had the most beautiful, peaceful, and mindful morning meditation. I took a few minutes to relax and connect my body and mind. I noticed the sounds around me, and for the first time I could see and feel my lungs expanding! Diane is wonderful, she guided our meditation group step by step. I really enjoyed having this amazing experience! I'm grateful for the present moment and the fullness of life!

This Month's Topic:  Mindfulness & Freedom

Martin Luther King Jr. Day, observed on January 20, 2025, alongside the inauguration of our nation’s 47th President, has me reflecting on the theme of freedom.

While mindfulness and meditation are often associated with calmness, one of their deeper fruits is freedom—a quality not as readily recognized but profoundly impactful.

This month, we will explore how elements of our practice, such as understanding, awareness, and emptiness, cultivate a sense of freedom and stability in our lives.

Silent Meditation:

Our practice will conclude with a 20-minute silent sitting meditation, including a segment with crystal singing bowls.

What to Expect:

Mindful Sharing: We will begin with an optional mindful sharing session, where you can discuss your experiences, benefits, or challenges with mindfulness and meditation. During this time, we will practice mindful speaking and listening.

RSVP: Please RSVP as space is limited. Email me at Diane@authentic-life.net

Donations:

While the event is free, cash donations are accepted for my brother, The Pirate, and his partner, The Wench, who provide basic necessities to the homeless in Pensacola, Florida.

Note:

This event is not a substitute for therapy or mental health treatment.

All are welcome, regardless of experience level.

Bring a friend and join us for a morning of relaxation, insight, and connection.

What to Bring:

A meditation cushion, and if you wish, a cash donation for homeless outreach in Pensacola, Florida.

I look forward to sharing this enriching meditation experience with you.
